Stichting Ambulance Wens fulfills the final wishes of terminally ill, non-mobile patients who depend on stretcher transport every day. With specially built ambulances and a team of 315 volunteers, the foundation enables people in the final stage of their lives to visit a place of great personal significance one last time. Whether it is a day at the beach, a final visit with family, or even a wish involving travel abroad, the foundation arranges everything safely, completely, and free of charge.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since 2007, the Foundation has been fulfilling the final wishes of people who are no longer mobile. What began with just a few wishes each month has grown into 7 to 10 wishes every day across the Netherlands and occasionally beyond. The foundation now fulfills around 2,000 wishes each year, with more than 24,000 wishes granted to date. In January, it fulfilled its 25,000th wish, an important milestone for the organisation and a powerful testament to the impact it has made over nearly two decades.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
