GORINCHEM – GORINCHEM – The trade fair Auto Prof was visited by over 8,000 visitors last week, which is 1,000 more than last year. A total of 95 exhibitors participated, representing a 27% increase compared to 2024. “The collective drive to shape the future of the automotive sector together was palpable everywhere,” says Geert Kluytmans, Head of Events at Auto Prof.

Kluytmans: “We look back on three successful days, during which we made a significant step forward. Leading up to the fair, we already saw a large increase in exhibitors, making the event considerably larger than in previous years. The circle was completed as we also saw a notable increase in visitors. All of this has resulted in a very successful edition and offers great prospects for the future.”
Innovatie Award for Autoflex
Visitors flocked to cast their votes for the Innovation Award, and Autoflex emerged as the winner. Their new Bedrijfsmonitor PRO was selected by the public as the most innovative product of the fair. This recognition highlights the importance of continuous innovation within the automotive sector.
The Bedrijfsmonitor is unique in its class and underscores the great importance of clear insights into figures, both for the workshop and for buying and selling. In particular, the simplicity and ease of visualizing this data in a custom dashboard was a frequently mentioned compliment.
Student Challenge: MBO Rijnland Gouda as the big winner
During the fair, 104 students took part in the challenging Student Challenge. MBO Rijnland Gouda secured the most victories and walked away with the school prize. In addition, students won great prizes daily, contributing to a competitive and inspiring atmosphere on the exhibition floor.
Auto Prof 2026
The next edition of Auto Prof will be held on January 27, 28, and 29, 2026, at Evenementenhal Gorinchem. During the recent edition, 28 exhibitors already committed to participating in the next event. ‘These early commitments confirm the trust in Auto Prof as the meeting point for professionals in the automotive sector. We are already looking forward to it’, aldus Klutymans.
