ATC Knowledge Dome: Innovations, Safety, and Business Optimization
The ATC Association also covered a wide range of topics, from technological advancements to safety and business strategies. Arjan van Doorn gave an in-depth presentation on solid-state battery technology and its impact on the charging infrastructure for heavy commercial vehicles. Frank van der Laak highlighted the safety aspects of accidents involving vehicles running on alternative fuels, such as LNG and hydrogen. Bas Wintjes shared insights into the importance of workshop key figures and how WESP helps entrepreneurs improve their business performance.

Erwin den Hoed and Arthur van Lee provided a detailed APK update, with a specific focus on the new requirements and the role of technology in preventing fraud. Adriaan van Broekhoven took the participants into the future of hydrogen and the growing role of this alternative fuel in the mobility sector. Iwan Kennis continued his diagnostic lecture with new fault cases, sharing his diagnostic skills.
Finally, Jordy Bruil provided entrepreneurs with valuable insights on their options when they are no longer a dealer and how they can adapt to new brand strategies or continue as independent specialists.

Innovammers Nico, André, Bert, and Gijs were on hand with practical insights and tips to directly assist workshops.
Gijs ter Bruggen discussed the tight labor market and the challenge of attracting qualified personnel. He shared strategies for retaining employees and recruiting skilled workers in a competitive industry. Nico Kraak explained the NEN 9140 standard, which regulates the safety of technicians working on electric vehicles.
André van Dijk provided insight into the operation of the heat pump in electric vehicles, an essential system for maintaining the HV battery at the right temperature for optimal performance and longevity. Bert Broesder focused on the role of mentors in BBL (work-based learning) programs and offered practical tips for organizing a successful learning period for students.
