NEW! WAECO ASC 7.744 for cars with CO2-driven A/C

WAECO expands its current series 7 with two new service units designed specifically for the refrigerant R744 (CO₂): the WAECO ASC 7.744 for passenger cars and the WAECO ASC 7.744 L for buses and other large vehicles. Both models will be officially introduced as a preview to industry professionals at Autoprof in Gorinchem. Market launch is planned for the end of the first quarter of 2026.
The introduction comes at a time when CO₂ air conditioning systems are increasingly being used in modern vehicles. For workshops, early investment in suitable service equipment means gaining a competitive advantage and being well prepared for future requirements. The new ASC 7.744 responds to the growing importance of CO₂ systems and to the demands of vehicle manufacturers.
Key features include a fully automatic service process with vacuum check and leak detection agent charging, high-precision oil and UV dosing as well as used oil draining with ±1 g accuracy, and a patented fresh oil and UV additive supply system. A heated filling cylinder enables fast charging, even during operation. The units feature a large 11.2-inch swiveling touch display, an integrated printer for complete documentation, and a hybrid flushing function (standard on ASC 7.744 L, optional on ASC 7.744).
Additional highlights include an integrated CO₂ sensor for monitoring ambient air, robust service hoses (3.5 m for ASC 7.744, 5 m for ASC 7.744 L), patented WAECO couplers with venting, a filling cylinder capacity of up to 50 kg, and an included heating band. A second heating band can be connected optionally on the ASC 7.744 L.
